Marcin Świdnicki

Marcin Świdnicki is a qualified legal advisor and a partner – founder of DPPA Legal. His main areas of specialty cover: civil law, including real estate law, court disputes, administrative proceedings and court and administrative proceedings. Marcin Świdnicki has advised on a number of real estate transactions of various types: share and asset deal transactions, direct purchase as well as forward funding and forward purchase transactions. He also renders ongoing legal advice services to clients with regard to operation and management of real properties. His experience covers: advice at sale, purchase and construction of real properties (offices, warehouses, shopping malls, residential buildings and undeveloped land), including self-dependent (including supervision over a team of lawyers) conducting of building sale, purchase and construction transactions from the stage of legal analysis (due diligence) through legal documentation preparation to negotiation and conclusion of agreements.
During his professional career Marcin Świdnicki cooperated with the following firms: Kancelaria Prawnicza Andrzej Kwaśnik (2000-2001), Haarmann Hemmerlath (2001-2003), Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz (2003-2004), Clifford Chance (2007-2010) and Salans (2010-2011). In the last two firms he was a member of the strongest real estate and construction practice in Poland led by Paweł Dębowski. For over three years (2005-2007) he was also an in-house lawyer of Metro Group Asset Management sp. z o.o. responsible for legal issues connected with the lease and ownership of shopping malls and other real properties owned by the Metro Group in Poland.
Marcin Świdnicki graduated from Warsaw University (master of law 2003, diploma with honours) and became qualified legal advisor 2007. He also obtained a German and EU diploma within the German Law School at Warsaw University in cooperation with Bonn University (2001, first rank).
