KRS 378948 („DPPA Legal”) respect the confidentiality of the personal data of its users as a data controller. This document (" Policy") describes DPPA Legal's privacy policy with respect to its websites ("Website"). DPPA Legal may make changes to this Privacy Policy. The date of the last update will be in the header of this page, so users are asked to check it out regularly. By using the Website, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy. Your continued use of the Website after the posting of any changes to this Privacy Policy will be considered as your acceptance of the changes.

1. Confidential information and unsolicited e-mail. Users are asked not to send confidential information until DPPA Legal has confirmed that it is representing them or acting on their behalf. Unsolicited e-mails sent by persons who are not clients of DPPA Legal do not form the basis of the relationship between the advocate and the client, cannot constitute legally protected information and may be disclosed to third parties.
2. Information collected. Personal data collected by DPPA Legal are processed in accordance with the principles set out in the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 r. on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing the Directive 95/46/WE (the general data protection regulation) („GDPR”) and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018. Data shall be processed in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 point b), c), d) and f) of GDPR. At various points on the Website, DPPA Legal may request and collect personally identifiable and other information from the users visiting Website. Depending on the information and/or services that are requested, users may be asked to provide their name, contact telephone number, address, email address and other information. In addition to the information users knowingly provide, DPPA Legal also collects information about the domain names and IP addresses of visitors, including statistics on how the site is used (e.g. browser type and operating system) and browsing history. These data are used to improve DPPA Legal's operations, to promote the services it offers and to administer the Website. The processing of personal data relating to DPPA Legal customers is governed by contracts with those customers. 3. How DPPA Legal uses your information. DPPA Legal may use a user’s personal information in any of the following ways (i) in order to provide it with personalised content; (ii) to process and respond to enquiries; (iii) for the purposes which the user provided the information for; (iv) in order to improve the quality of the content of the Website and its navigability; (v) to inform users about new features, special events and services offered, (vi) to recruit persons interested in working with or in cooperating with DPPA Legal; and (vii) to implement the terms of use of the website, and (viii) in connection with the provision of legal advice by DPPA Legal, in particular in connection with the exercise of the profession of an advocate or a legal advisor, namely to: prepare and negotiate contracts, reports, memoranda and legal opinions for or on behalf of DPPA Legal clients, pursuing claims on behalf of DPPA Legal clients or on its own, contacting on behalf of DPPA Legal clients or with DPPA Legal clients or persons working for them or providing services in connection with the negotiation or performance of contracts, entering into or performing contracts by DPPA Legal, performing its legal obligations, in particular its tax, accounting, statistical and archiving obligations. No dataset is maintained for candidates participating in the recruitment process for DPPA Legal. The Data Controller shall remove the CVs of the candidates after 3 months from the end of the recruitment process, no later than within 6 months from the date of their submission.

4. Transfer of personal data to other entities. Your personal data is processed at the registered office of DPPA Legal. Your data will be shared only with authorized persons (employees or entities cooperating with DPPA Legal) in connection with the performance of their duties pertaining to the provision of legal advisory services to DPPA Legal, as well as with entities providing accounting, tax or IT services to DPPA Legal, and also with notaries and contractors to the extent resulting from the content of agreements that DPPA Legal clients plan to enter into. We will also share your data with courts and public authorities or authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

5. Protection of information. DPPA Legal takes care of the security of personal data provided by users of the Website and ensures that such data are protected against unauthorized access, as well as against other cases of their disclosure or loss, and against destruction or unauthorized modification of the data and information indicated, by applying appropriate technical and organizational security measures.

6. Filling of the Application. If the confidentiality of a user’s personal data is violated, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
7. Resignation. DPPA Legal ensures that users of the Website exercise their rights under generally applicable laws, including in particular the right to access the content of the data and the right to rectify, erase, restrict and process it, the right to transfer it, the right to object, the right to withdraw the consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing, provided, however, that if DPPA Legal is authorised by the law to further process users’ data.
